Muhammad wasnt even close to Jesus' era. He was 600 yrs after Jesus and 300 after the founding of the church. Muhammad took many of his Islamic ideals from other book religions. Besides, muhammed invented jihad in order to defend against infidels so after the infidels stopped attacking him, he attacked them. hence jihad is the basic principle of "the best defense is a good offense". Totally different from the Lords commandments.

I have read parts of the Qu'ran. The debates that I get into with the Muslims have revealed to me how easy it is to befuddle their arguements. It makes me sure that the Qu'ran has it wrong.

Because Mohammed made a mistake- and I'm being serious. When he decided to use Jesus as an example of a virgin birth along with the other parts of the Bible he began to sink in a scholarly mire. He should have just left it alone, but since he didn't, he brought the whole thing down on his head. He didn't understand the types of Christ in the Old Testament, and he didn't understand the nature of Christ.

I have not read the Qur'an but I have studied the Qur'an in a collegiate setting and have sat down and observed prayer time in a mosque. And set down with the local Islamic leaders and discussed the Islamic faith with them.

I do not believe that Muhammad was a messager of God because of many things that he taught that is not in accordance with the Bible. From the very beginning, Issac was the blessed One. But also some theological/ ethical issues as well.

I got to curious the other day and read enough of the Quran. In you book Muhammad says to kill all Christians and Jews. It also says that Christ was not the son of God. Our Holy Bible says to love one another, where you books says to kill everyone if they do not believe as you do. Your book also says " Look behind you there is a Jew, go and kill him." I want to ask you something now , have you read the Holy Bible ? Keep an open mind. The true and unseen God is a God of love and peace, not of hate and war. My God is of love and peace. I haven't read the Quran, but let me tell you that Christians don't believe that Muhammad was the messanger of God because he was actually just some SCHMUK who wanted a lot of power over people, and was actually just a primitive warlord.

Jews don't believe that Jesus was the Son of God or incarnation of God or whatever, because in fact Jesus was some hippie crackpot who wouldn't shut the **** up. That's why they crucified him, because he told people to worship him and that they needed forgiveness. That is condescending.

Finally, smart people don't believe the Jews because they would tell you bullshit just for the sake of preserving tradition.

So basically all the major religions with the exceptions of philosophical religions like Buddhism are a load of crap!

Muhammad lived almost 700 years after Jesus, if you READ the bible you will realize that there was no need for a new "revelation" of this kind, Muhammad only united the polytheistic arab tribes of the middle east in one monotheistic religion based in judaism and christianism, it was a political move, so wake up.

I don't have to read the qur'an but I can tell you that we had the son of God 600 years before Mohamed so it all happened way before his time! many Christians there for believe that the only true religion is Christianity . Islam came way later I just cant believe in your prophet!

I believe it's because they're not Muslim. If they believe that, they would be a Muslim and not a Christian. Some have probably read the Quran and didn't believe it to be true hence, they are Christians. The others who didn't read it probably heard about the Muslim faith and again, decided they didn't believe it.
