Many of my friends do not share my faith and I believe that it has made me a better person. I believe that people who refuse to mingle with people with different beliefs are scared of growth and the possibility of being challenged.

Well currently I have learned not a whole lot from those of other groups in this forum. Most of what I see in here is not new to me. I have learned that unfortuantely many atheist have not actually spoken to an intellegent Christian.....and yes I assure you those do exsist.

I have learned a lot from atheist in the past though that has helped me have a better understanding and grasp on my own personal beliefs. Like when I was younger and someone corresponding with me for months about the existance of Jesus of Nazareth. This really made me do a lot of thinking and studying and observing. It was challenging. I really didn't want to read his emails sometimes. BUT I DID. And I THANK God I did. Now my faith is stronger than ever!

I've learned that Islam is a crazy religion. Not saying that to be funny. I seriously have.
In all the talk of "logic logic logic" I get from atheists, I've spent some time thinking about life in a logical sense. And I've found that, in my experience, it doesn't work all the time. There are things I've seen, things I've been through, that cannot be logically explained. And when I've brought them up to atheists, they just assumed I was lying.
So I've actually gotten stronger in my faith because I see that atheism doesn't have an answer for everything.
This forum has also opened my eyes to how wild the Christian church is today. It's scary. People misquoting the Bible, making up their own rules, disagreeing with me on the most fundamental things.
I haven't made any friends on here at all. Most people say they like my personality, then they see what I believe in, and they don't like me so much any more.
And I do agree with the other gal who answered on here. A year ago, this was a different place.

I have read some of the links posted by Muslims re the Koran and science. I honestly try to understand their beliefs, but when they say that Mohamed discovered that semen is what impregnates women, I wonder. BTW they won't let me post this in a question, maybe this answer will go.

I learned that people could believe in something without any proof or evidence from the Christians and I learned how evolution works more from fellow atheists.

But, nothing changed my beliefs, they are glued by evidence

And, I'm not enhanced, this section is a joke, totally

NO. Generally people here seem to ask or answer questions just to get a rise out of others, to preach, to belittle others or to validate their own belief system. It is really sort of disappointing because this could be a really good tool to both learn about people other than one's self and also be an avenue toward understanding and empathy.

I don't know if I can say my life has been enhanced per se, but I've learned some things.

I didn't know squat about Islam before I got on this forum (don't know much now). Wouldn't want to convert though.

Just keeps proving that no one's got it right yet. My view has always been a balanced combination anyway, it's the joy of being a nondenominational pagan.
