I'm a really shy Asian girl. I really like this other Asian guy, recently his girlfriend has broken up with him. I think telling him myself that I love him will be very hard. He thinks of me as a little sister. What do I do?!

Forget about him and move on. Yes you can MAKE a long distance relationship work, but what's the point. Don't you want him to be with you and to enjoy things with you? Don't you want to be able to talk with him as much as the two of you want? That's very difficult to do in a long distance relationship. It sounds like you may be a bit unsure and insecure about yourself and that may be why you are attracted to someone who physically CAN'T be with you. It sounds like your looking for a "safe" relationship so that you won't get hurt. Step back and examine your own life and all the wonderful qualities you have to offer. You can a real relationship, but give it time. There may be someone more suitable already in your life, or in the future.

Take a chance. You only live once. Tell him how you feel, if he feels the same, great, if not - pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on. It's not the end of the world. It may suck for a little while but it's better for him to know and maybe something good will come of it than to always wonder.
