luckily you are giving yourself plenty of time to achieve this goal and you are determined to do it the right way. A word of advice. If you are looking to get a "six pack", sit ups are not the way to go. Sit ups will indeed strengthen your core muscles, but if you have a lot of excess abdominal fat you must get rid of that first. This is done through cardio activity and a good eating plan (not diet, that is a dirty word!). A good eating plan includes adequate fats ( 20-30% of total calories), carbs (45-55% of total calories) and proteins (25-35% of total calories). Overall calories depend on age, height, weight, gender and level of physical activity. Hope this helps!

Did you watch that girl on American Idol this week that lost all that weight for the audition? Did you not hear how Janet Jackson lost hers on the Oprah show. Girl, it's gridiron and dedication only you can do. Get people to support you. Set your goal and have a really tough person to whip your butt into shape. Most of us don't have the proper motivation to do it ourselves, and if your one of those people look for others that will support you, and give them the ok to be hard on you - like a boot camp, if your really serious about it..

weight watchers has a recipe book that tells how many calories your consuming when you make the food. try that. in one of them there is a soup where it is 0 "points" - you could have as much of that as you wanted and it really doesnt affect your caloric intake. A lady in my moms old group had pounds slide off when she had it for dinner pretty much every night, plus its all healthy for you.
