I think eating a lot doesn't work alone. You should combine many methods at the same time such as eating much (to provide calories),drinking a lot of water (to help your body easily absorb the food you eat) and exercising regularly (to help you feel healthy and want to eat) and of course, having a appropriate timetable of working. Why? Imagine that you need at least some ingredients for your meat soup like water, rice, meat, salt for your soup meat. Can it become a real soup meat if you forget some meat?
Your target in this case is to gain weight. So BE PATIENT to combine at least the methods above in a LONG TERM. You won't be disapointed at what you achieve.
Let start as follows: go jogging for 30 minutes every morning, drink 2 litre of water, and 2 glasses of milk (one in the morning, one before bed) a day, try to eat some extra meals like in the afternoon and at night, and remember not stay up late after 11p.m.
Isn't it too difficult, is it?

Depending on your family genetic make up, maybe you aren't meant to be that type but be grateful. Yet, I used to be in that predicament; was always under weight; no matter what I ate, I never could gain anything. My Dr. even told me to drink Ensure or Boost. Not until I reached middle age, did I start "putting it on" and now I wish I could lose it in certain areas. Be thankful you aren't like some who have to watch every single thing they eat because they gain easily.

When I was light weighted and I was really trying to gain weight, I drank half/ and half dairy creamer. It was many years ago but I remember it put weight on me quite rapidly .

Keep on eating what ? All foods are NOT equal.
You must consume more calories that you burn.
If you are ingesting more than you burn, then perhaps you have tapeworm or some other medical issue.
See a doctor then.
