i lost my boyfriend of 4 years at the end of may. he died the day after our daughter turned 2 months old. all i want more than anything is to dream of him, but i haven't at all. after he died, i started spending time with an old friend from high school. i dream of him (from h.s.) on a regular basis..i wake up feeling guilty that i had not dreamed of my decesed boyfriend. i usually cry myself to sleep thinking of my boyfriend, he's on my mind all day...i just dont understand why i haven't dreamed of him...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

It is probably your mind telling you that you need to try and get over your boyfriend and move on. It's a horrible thing to lose someone tragically like that, but you have to continue living your own life. Think about it this way, if your boyfriend was seeing you today do you'd think he'd like to see you crying over him all the time and being sad about something you have no control over, or would he like to see you live life to the fullest because he didnt get that chance? You shouldn't feel guilty about dreaming of other men, it's natural. Basically it's time to try and move on, it may take awhile but it's what he would have wanted.

You sound like you were so close to your deceased boyfriend that there was little unfinished bussiness. The new boyfriend is another story and perhaps working things out with him and your loss have been difficult. Dreams are often a pressure release for unanswered questions or dilemas. Sounds like a greif support group would be of assistance to you . Give thanks to your higher power that you had such pleasant times to remember and a daughter to carry on his spirit . Could be that he is busy in your little girls dreams. You may have to wait a while . Be patient and keep loving yourself .

He may come to you in other ways. Usually pennies is a sign they keep popping up in my house. Also when you go to sleep at night ask for a sign to know that you know he is with you. It will come in a form or another

four years is a long time......I think it's time to move on....Maybe the reason you are not dreaming of your dearly departed is because he's sending you a message to move one....There's no need to feel guilty.....
