as you would have them do unto you?... I don't see any gays discriminating against Christians anywhere yet but still... Do Christians want to be discriminated against?

In Britain the Catholics going one further over adoption rights, they are saying they are being discriminated against because they will not be able to carry on discriminating against gays unless they are granted an exclusion from anti-discrimination legislation everybody else will have to observe, even using threats saying they will close adoption agencies..."if you don't grant us an exclusion the kids are gonna get it "

I guess it depends on what you mean by "discriminate". I once saw a news story on TV and, as I recall, it was coverage of a counter-protest at a gay pride rally. There was a close-up of a minister, complete with black shirt and white collar, shouting, "God hates gays!" I personally think that kind of behavior is unChristian. All adults sin so we shouldn't judge each other as sinners; and it's not my place to say what God thinks. I'm pretty sure that God doesn't hate anybody, though.

However, it is not wrong to stand up for your principles. So, If they ask me, I am still going to tell gay people that I think homosexual behavior is sinful. Actually, I think my church's position on this is quite consistent, because we don't believe in any kind of sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman. That's a true principle.

So if by "discriminate" you mean that I'm not going to say it's okay to participate in sinful behavior, I guess I discriminate in that way. But I hope that none of my gay acquaintances and coworkers would accuse me of being anything but kind to them.

I surely have discovered in existence that in case you do no longer say some thing or talk out even somewhat, and save your mouth close, that extraordinarily lots ability you're for some thing. people anticipate you agree. i like gay people and have gay acquaintances. yet.... you're top they're going to save sinning no depend if we make the marriage criminal or no longer. yet there comes a time once you purely could say, i do no longer agree. the element with regard to the marriage is they get advantages. They get to declare one yet another as a husband and spouse might. in any different case, they are purely 2 people residing mutually. they like to be recognized by utilising society as a criminal couple, so it is not likely with regard to the intercourse in line with se.

It's a way for one group of people to feel superior to another group of people and then blame it on their god and his commands. "I don't pass judgement on your behavior... GOD did and I must follow what he said."

Yeah, right. See, God doesn't have to live here on this earth and try to get along with people. I live in the real world where getting along with others is a very important part of life. I don't judge someone else for sleeping with the opposite gender, why hold it against someone for loving someone of the same gender? It really makes no sense at all.

I'm a married woman with a child... and my gay friends sleeping with someone of their same gender or wanting to get married to their partner does not threaten me or my marriage or the foundation of my marriage. I don't accept that argument either.

IF, that is IF you read and know your Bible, you are suppose to love one another. True, but, also if you know your Bible and Christ's teachings, there are certain things that are wrong in the eyes of God. IF you admit you're wrong, you will be forgiven; if you don't think you're wrong, then you won't think you have anything to be forgiven for. Remember, the truth will set you free.

I am a born again Christian and I am against homosexuality as is God. Homosexuality is an abomination against God and those that live a homosexual life are in rebellion and defiance against God, taking pleasure in their sin. If you want to call it discrimination, so be it, but any true born again Christian abides by what God has said in His word. We merely tell the truth according to scripture.

Romans 1:24-32 - - Wherefor God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 - Who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served teh creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 - For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 - And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence which was meet. 28 - And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate ind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 - Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 - Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 - Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

This is one thing that troubles mean about Christians. We should not discriminate anyone. ALL are welcome in God's house and I dont agree with the Baptists and their take on gays. Jesus mingled with sinners and worse, so for any believer acting like they are high and mighty appears to not be striving to live a sanctified life.

God has a place for homosexuals, and it isn't hell. Some people just have to get past the barriers, and overcome the labels that they give themselves.
God loves you. Not any more or any less. You have to love yourself enough and love God. He has made a place for you. You just have to take it. I am sorry that you feel this way.
