Motorcycle cops,are "traffic units" and their primary functions is traffic violations and traffic accidents. And they have quotas. Regular patrol officers respond to all sorts of calls,and are more easier to get off on a traffic citation, than a motorcycle cop, or a traffic unit. The key word is "traffic".

Police motorcycle Officers don't let you off with a warning because that is their job, to enforce any and all traffic laws, that's why they drive motorcycles so they can move in and out of traffic a lot more easy than a patrol car, the police officer in a patrol car is also there to enforce any and all traffic law, majority of them do other calls that come into the department

Police must make Police motorcycle users the same with the Policemen in patrol cars with regards to giving warnings.

Probably because they think they are chip's movie stars and so they are so stuck up and cool looking (in their own mind), you must deserve a ticket.
Actually because bike cops are typically assigned to traffic enforcement. But the above statement applies anyway.

The type of vehicle they drive/ride is not significant. Some officers will give you a break, and others are hard nosed sticklers for the rules and regulations. It boils down to individual personality.
