To whom it concerns,
I may not be exactly where you are at, but i have struggled a lot too. I have tried to hurt myself as well, and have been in and out of hospital. Truthfully the answer for me was finding a good church, with good people, who then became my friends. People i can trust for the most part to talk to. Plus accepting the Lord as my Savior. Now. I still go to my counselor, I still am on medications, and i still struggle, but things are better than what they once were for me. I have a long way to go yet though. You cant really find peace with yourself, till you find peace with God. Its hard to explain. Even though I have found the Lord, I still struggle trying to find peace within me.My friends help me out though. Now I dont know who you are, So if you are not a religious believer, I am sorry. I dont mean to step on your beliefs or anything, I am just telling you what has helped me out a lot. For me my major problem was how i would see myself, and still to this day, i struggle with that. Its hard. First though you need to be willing to change. Then once you are, people can start helping you more, or you will see changes in how you view things in life. Its not a quick change. It will take time. Take care of yourself, and remember, you are a child of GOD, and HE has a purpose for you. Have a good day. now.

bottom line, you have to find a reason to live. Ive always wandered why people would want to hurt themselves on purpose. And the only conclusion that I have is that they are so down on themselves that they think that thats what everyone else wants to do to them. When in reality, thats not at all the case. You just have to find a different way to channel the agression that you have to yourself to something different. like taking a walk, reading a book, playing some video games, stuff like that. Eventually, as you learn to love yourself for who you are, you wont feel the need or the urge to do that again. Also, try Praying. Anytime I feel lonely or down on myself, I have a long talk with God and I just have a reassured feeling that everything is going to be okay. I hope this has helped. Good luck! :)

Mabey you do, mabey you don't. Perhaps you hide your feelings alot and you act out bottled emotions and subconcious self-worth in a destructive, but viably pain killing, and distracting way. Perhaps it's your way of communicating rage to the world.Your self worth can be regained by finding what your real passion is in life regardless if people tell you you can't or if it's retarded, (look at the guy from 'girls gone wild' ),and being true to yourself. It sounds like you need a break from people for awhile, at least the people who have not interviened in this situation, and find out who you are and what you want. You are what is important and all that matters, this is your life, you only get one. Value it, embace every crappy part of it, know that there will always be people out there that love you for who you are and for your experiences. Don't hide anything, what doesn't click now, will click later, there's always tommorow, if your true to yourself. Don't let societies crap of social etiquette and perfect throw you. I have been hearting my self for almost 8 years now i want to stop cutting myself ,but i bet you know this but the longer you heart you're self the harder it is to stop.people say stop.oh ok just like that!i have also brunt my self.hope you are not doing that.self harm can mean different things.as for the low self image people suck.I've been told that also even by some of my loved 1s.Try not to think about that.i know its hard.think of the best time you ever had go to that place when you are hearting.i know you don't know me & i dont know you,but i know what it is like to be in so much pain.i dont want you to heat like i do to hide like me.talk to some one..even me if you want to,but talk i want you to get beter best of luck....

Dear! we are all human beings, we all have problems in our lives, no one can live a perfect life, there is not even a single person in this world who is completely satisfied with his/her life, so if there happens something bad with you don't take it too seriously, always remember that you are not the only one who is suffereing from some problems, if there is something bad there must be something good, just keep an eye on good things and ignore the bad things, you will stop hurting yourself....cheer:-)

what do you mean that you hurt yourself? there's many assumptions that can be derived from that statement.
however, it would some how seem appropriate to say that you should seek out professional help if your not doing so already.
sometimes "self harm" can be more than just low self esteem

remove all items that can be dangerous or things than can harm you. there must be a good friend or family to be with most of the time.
I used to hate myself, but after many years later, i thought if i cant love me who can??? tell me what troubles u

Does any one close to you know? I stoped because i told my mom and now i am in fear that she will find new ones, thats how i stopped. but its hard to tell someone. my friend went behind my back and told a teacher i am close to. but it helped. so when you get the courage tell your mom, mean while try hard to stop on your own.

Do what you like best weather it be sport's, TV, meditation, Karo tie, our laying out in the sun. Don't pay ation to other people No that you are what you are and that nobody cares.
