my son had an upset stomach but the bananas did help. I would suggest however not to eat them if you are throwing up.

sick stomachs usually need something very simple to break down....since they are very irritable, they wouldn't want something complicated to try to work with aka proteins dairy..........stick with something simple.....aka simple sugars and carbs. Bananas....I'm not so sure about....but toast, cereal, oatmeal, crackers, and maybe some 7up would help. if all else fails try some pepto.

They are good for many things but for stomach problems I would recommend mint tea and acidophilus.

Yes it is very soothing and can also help you fall asleep or fall back asleeep after waking up abruptly.
Bananas are my favorite food. I eat one religiously every morning.
