This is by far the best way to resolve the issue. I unleash the book of revelations with my MIGHTY ROBOT ARMY and we see if Jesus stops me. If he does, you atheists are WRONG and I can gloat! If he does not, then you are right but still ROASTED by my robot laser cannons!
Either way I win because I am a genius. Whaddayaknow!

I have answered this question in different forms many, many times.
Would conquering the world make you happier than just being a good person? You can have power that way, and you can even have fake love (build a robot sex slave while you're at it or buy a prostitute) but I would not take pleasure in world conquest. Have you ever been in a position to hurt someone and chosen not to for no better reason than you don't want to? No? Then stay Christian and don't convert because you wouldn't fit in with the majority of atheists.
EDIT: Beware of competing mad scientists with rocket launchers and neodymium spheres to blast and fry those robots of yours who don't like the idea of being conquered. Just a thought about unexpected consequences of high-risk activities.
