i have all of the above mentioned: scoliosis and kyphosis, and osgood schlatters disease. i have extreme pain with all of them! i was treated with physio, electrolosis and exercise and at 17 i was last measured at a 16 degree S curvature - to the left. since then i was a passanger in a car accident at age19 and am now 21.
i have been told that for all it is extremely rare to have any pain at all with any of these, but all of these conditions are permanant and cannot be treated after the age of 17 so i shouldn't have bother. it's constantly getting worse, an i have to crack it constantly and i haven't been able to work for 18 months or more due to this pain... which apparently shouldn't exist with these conditions and i should be fully capable to work. most days i have trouble moving or getting out of bed, and if i can i'm in a lot of pain.
has anyone else run into this problem at all?
is there any web sites anyone knows of with more infomation?

I'm not surprise you are having pain with all of these conditions. I think you should try having physical therapy which includes deep tissue massage on a regular basis. That would do a great deal to help the pain you are suffering.

Osgood-Schlatter disease can be helped by antiinflammation and pain-relieving medications, ice, and rest. I really think antiinflammation medication would help you with many of the symptoms of pain you are experiencing. if you have access to a Jacuzzi that would help a great deal to stimulate your circulation and give you some relief in the spine. You want to avoid extremely hot water only slightly above body temperature.

I've enclosed the links to two different websites that might give you some help. I know that there are support groups for your condition and you might want to find one so that you can share what you are going through with others who will understand.

specific it may in case you have a tender case that basically hurts once you have executed some thing strenuous to it. besides the shown fact that no depend if that's a extra stepped forward case it hurts very nearly all of the time (consisting of in specific circumstances once you're sitting like in my case). some circumstances even have osgood discomfort for a pair of weeks and then no longer something for a year and then lower back for a pair extra weeks. no longer lots is known approximately osgood schlatters so very nearly something may well be a symptom. If the case you listed is yours then placed on a patella knee strap on the days it hurts.
