Question about music compatibility for girls who like country music -- are country and "soft" rock compatible enough in the sense that you would be willing to go out with a guy who likes soft rock and listen to his kind of music if he asked you? Also, does it help if the same guy who likes soft rock is willing to listen to country music with you too? ("Soft rock" being defined as something along the lines of Josh Groban, Peter Cetera, Richard Marx, Jim Brickman, Mariah Carey, Sting, Bryan Adams, Bangles, etc.)

I'm pretty open to different tastes in music, I definately would not choose a boyfriend, or rule someone out, based on their music. But it would definately help if they were willing to listen to country with me :)

song compatibility is severe :) BQ1: Pendulum, Static-X, Rammstein, Slipknot, AC/DC, Avenged Sevenfold, gadget of a Down, Rage against the device, Bullet for My Valentine, Dream Theater, The Prodigy...there's a hell of lots easily. BQ2: present day artists, innovations from pals and random YouTube searches lol. BQ3: maximum those days that's been The Prodigy. BQ4: Hearts Burst Into hearth - Bullet for My Valentine. Peace.

good question. for me i think a relationship requires a little give and take. but really the similarities in music is really something i take seriously. i love country music 24/7, so the guy i date would really have to listen to it and be willing. i wouldn't mind listening so a little soft rock or alternative music rarely but that's just me. it depends on the girl and how serious they are about their music.
