Everyone is different, but for me married life is much, much better. I am content now. I don't worry about finding someone to be with, so I can think about other things. I feel safe and cared for and loved. I always have someone to talk to. I always have someone who will stick up for me no matter what, or be there for me when I'm sick, or when I'm pissy, or whatever. I still have freedom to do whatever I want, but I have someone there by my side to come along with me. I love being married. Oh and p.s.-- you know how single people always make fun of married people for not having sex? It's a myth. It's a flat-out lie. Fact is, married people have more sex. And better sex--- because, in general, they love and trust each other. My sex life is 100% better than when I was single.

well, i'm single but i'd have to say married life is better. and it really depends on the person you're married to. if you have someone who really loves you for you then married life is so much better and children can also be a plus. you'll always be needed when married or have a family and that's priceless. having someone to talk to is priceless. having a shoulder to cry on is priceless. everybody wants to be loved and accepted. and being loved and accepted is priceless. yeah single life can be great for a while-you have your independence, you have more money usually. but it does get lonely after a while. just because you're alone doesn't mean you can't feel lonely. yeah you don't have anyone who depends on you like a spouse and/or child, but the love that they give you is priceless. so all in all i feel that married life is better when you're with someone who truly loves you unconditionally.

i think none of them is better....married could be better compared to single life if u married the right man and when u lead a happy life...but single life could be better than married life if u marry to someone who isn't love u as what he had promised, so why bother ? if u single, u don't have to scare that ur man could be snatch by other girl..u can do wat u want without letting anybody know...but when u had ur fun enuf, u will think that u are lonely and u want to get married, u want to find someone to accompany going thru this life...so i think whether u are single or married, it all depends on how u see this life..

Married life is great if you both have your own interests and friends and similar values and interests. If you both can keep growing. You should be able to talk and laugh and have fun together as well as be there for each other when times are tough.
Being single is great if you are at peace with yourself. Have interests other than work and are comfortable spending time with getting to know yourself and doing things you enjoy. And have friends when you want company.
Both are great.

This same question was asked 2000 years ago in Greece... the teacher said:
'No matter what you do... you'll regret either way'
Hahaha the answer seems quite sad, but I guess the guy ment that if you marry you'll remember some sweet memories of your bachelor's life and regret... and if you remain single, you'll go to sleep in an empty bed and miss not having someone to care for you and tell you he loves you...

umm married is good if you find the right person but people rush it so much these days. live together like a married couple for awhile too. Can you two stand being together and living together for x number of months ... single is nice cuz your not tied down to one person but the way std's are around here in DC lol causual encounters only lead to itchyness and burning urinal visits

I think it both has its ups and downs. Being single may give someone the feeling of lonliness not having someone but then there is that freedom factor of being able to come and go as they please. Being married and having someone is nice but it brings you to a whole different level with that person where you may feel like you have less freedom, less time to your self. After awhile your life becomes less of a relationship and more of a habit.

SINGLE: have more freedom, get to go out with whoever u want, feel lonely at times because u dont have anyone in ur life
MARRIAGE:u get to wake up to the same person every morning, u have a **** buddy for the rest of ur life, ur only attached to one person, less chance of getting an STI unless they cheat on u, have ur own family

Married, by far... but then again, I'm married to the right man. Marriage to the wrong guy is way worse than being single.

Married life is better because you always have somebody to share the events of your day with, and lie in bed with and keep warm, and somebody that will say thanks for cooking, or thanks for cleaning. Somebody who shares your life with you. If you were alone, and just had a friend to talk to...sometimes your friends aren't there for you, or sometimes they don't care because they have better things to do. But when you are married, your partner is always there with you and for you. Unless you don't have that good of a relationship...and in that case, you should never have married.
