Hmm.. I had to have spacers put in so that they could put the braces on.. that was a few years ago. I really don't miss having my braces. I mean the braces, the rubberbands, the spacers, the wires, EVERYTHING hurts. But I had a great dentist and he would always remind me that the end result would be worth it all and it was. You just wont be able to eat anything solid for like a week.

See spacers harm for the entire entire time you've them and also you cant extremely devour some thing in any respect in contrast to braces and then once you get braces they're going to easily harm once you tighten them yet except that when about 2 weeks after the first time you get your braces oon it wont harm in any respect so i ought to assert the spacers ought to result you more desirable with the hurting area... Plus dont trouble about the entire braces component its all good interior the end... =]

helloo there (:
i had spacers for like almost a week ; not long ago.
i`d say that it hurts like a half hour after you get them.
they`re blue.
and it kinda hurted for me when they put spacers in.
and it hurt so bad when i got home..
so make sure to take painkillers like right away.
i was like crying and i went to sleep haha X]
and it hurt like heeelll for the next 4 days and you can`t bite much of anything;
but don`t worry because it`ll get better if you have painkillers.
it stops hurting in about like 4-5 days and you can eat anything you want!!
i don`t have any braces because i am currently wearing headgear and a pendulum;
but my friend said spacers hurt as much as braces exept braces hurt all around.
and spacers hurt in the back teeth only.
hope this helped;
if you need more info just ask ;]

Braces, mainly cause I played trumpet in the band. It will take a while for your mouth to toughen up for the braces. People usually use wax when they start out to minimize the pain.

For braces, make sure they cut the end of the wire off even before leaving the office. Stick your finger back there to make sure and if it is sticking out have them cut it again. If they don't that wire will stick into the side of your mouth which can be uncomfortable and unnecessary.
