Do you have to buy a new turbo tax program every year or can you use the same program? If so how do i change it to say 2006 tax filing? It still says 2005 for filing. Can some one help?

You need a new version of Turbo tax.
Tax laws change every year, so the program changes every year, so you need a new program every year.

Sorry, you have to buy the new version for 2006. The 2005 version is for 2005 only.

Intuit releases the version (and updates) each year but it's a great investment of $20 (tax deductible expense) over the cost of having a "professional preparer" do your taxes.

I had the same problem, but you just need to buy this years version, that way it is caught up with all the new laws and deductions, trust me its worth the hassle and money!
