If I were to guess I'd guess you're talking about a woman who always wants you in bed when she's going to sleep and says she can't sleep alone and you're going away and concerned about whether she'll have to find someone to sleep with. It doesn't sound like you trust her. That's what's important. Just remember it is probably only you she wants to sleep with.

My mom is like that when my dad has to be gone on some nights, just tell her to go to a relative's/friend's house while you're gone, it will all work itself out. And trust her to stay true to you.

I would think them to be somewhat needy. I don't know what trust has to do with it. I'm certain there are trustworty needy people... that doesn't mean you want to be in a relationship with them.
