ok,my friend asked the guy i like if he liked me and he said only as a friend that he doesn't even know me that well...so i thought i should try to start conversations with him....would should i say?

Being that I had a similar experience to this, I usually try to bump into them and if we have class together then that's better, try to comment them on their looks, don't feel awkward at all!! Because then he'll feel that off you, anyways, and from there ask him what he does for fun, but always try to catch him when he doesn't look busy and whenever you see him always smile and say hey how are you, little things like that always work! and if you in the end, end up becoming his friend and he then doesn't like you the way you like him at least you'll know how to approach the next guy and won't have your friends do it for you, and that's something you should never depend on!! Not trying to make it sound like friends isn't the way to go I mean yea it is, but try to get guys your own way without friends, next time do what I said, comment on shoes, shirt, eyes, smile, anything and then begin a conversation with them and so on, Good Luck!!

Just smile at him and if he smiles back you say something casual.
Try something like: "You know what time it is?" "This is a funny place (weather, time) isn't it?" For your purpose it's important that you give it the feel as though you're buddies already and have known each other forever.
On the whole, guys are much less judgmental with girls talking to them than girls with guys. If you try it a few times you'll see that most guys really like the effort you're making.

Sorry to say, but you are sounding desperate and desperate is not attractive ever.
Just be normal. Say hi if he says hi back then you have a place to start.
Let life happen don't plan it and never ask someone else to live your life for you.

Hi, I'm the girl who is so pathetic she has to have her friends speak on her behalf, and when she gets rejected by proxy, she still does not get the hint and makes herself look even more ridiculous by chasing after a guy who is not interested in her. So - see any good movies lately?

If you are the kind of person who says, Hi! then say Hi! If you are the kind of person who starts of a conersation by saying what's poppin then say what's poppin.Just don't try to be something else trust me I know from experience.

hmm u must be young... usually a guy doesn't need to know a girl socially to want to date her... he just has to have an attraction to her to later on develope that social deal... sorry to say he probably will still only want to be friends.
