You can boil it- if you take a look at the package it will tell you. I tend to let it cook until i can poke it with a fork and the kernals are soft- that is usually about 6-10 minutes.
Another good way is to leave it in its husk and wrap it in foil, throw it on the bbq grill
OR
keep it in its husk, throw it in the microwave for 5 minutes... really good!

Just before cooking, husk the corn, pull off the silky threads, and cut out any blemishes with a pointed knife. Drop the corn into a large pot filled with boiling salted water. Cover the pot and let the water return to a boil again, then turn off the heat and keep the pot covered. After about 5 minutes, remove enough ears for a first serving. You can keep the remaining corn warm in the water for another 10 minutes without its becoming tough. Serve with lots of butter and salt.

Bring a big pot of water to a boil. Drop your ears of corn in. Bring it back to a boil, then time it for 3 minutes. Have your butter and salt and pepper ready.

you plant the seeds in the ground water and apply plenty of sun, wait untill the plant is 5 feet tall and the cob has swelled on the side of the plant, wait untill the threads on the end turn brown, pick off cob, strip off the leaves and threads , place in boiling water, for 5 mins ,drain ,cover in butter and enjoy. they taste so much better than shop bought ones.

yes you can boil it, and it depends on the corn, just boil until the kernels are tender.

I cook mine just like Lillyfish, I like my corn crispy, not mushy, so her recipe is perfect!
