I found this on a yahoo page about what food can do for emotions and stuff.:
Feeling stressed, nervous, or anxious? Calm down with some low-fat dairy or a handful of almonds. Both foods are rich in calcium, and calcium is great for reducing anxiety and making you feel calm and relaxed.

I don't know if it really works or not though.

I do alot of that stuff. And the best thing I do is just pretend to be someone else. I know that sounds funny but if you pretend to have a mask on it won't be so bad. Also look towards a spot far on the horizon.. out where no one is standing sing out to that spot. You'll sing louder (trust me) and as you're singing to no one in particular you might just be able to sing as if you were alone in your room and the tape playing in the background.

Wear a sunglass when you sing. That will keep you from direct eye contacts, which makes most starters nervous. When you lose the fright, you wont need any shades anymore.

hahaha well let me think a more honorable answer...

Hmm,,, I would take a herbal infusion (tisana, valeriana, camomila sorry I only know the spanish names...) while entertaining myself with You-Tube, a good movie or giving me some answers in return hehehe.

Just be calm, don't think of it so much, imagine that you r alone no one hearing or seeing you.
