I started to weightlift a week ago and im taking creatine as well as whey protein and im trying to build my pecs, especially the lower part where u get the cut and ive read in many places that to get the pecs i should bench so ill start doing that and i was wondering how long it will take for my pecs to start showing especially the lower cut. Thanx for the help everyone!

You'll start seeing something after probably a month of consistent workouts, maybe even a little sooner. You'll see strength gains before that.

Try a variety of exercises. Bench press is a great core exercise that is a compound movement, meaning it utilizes several different muscle groups.

Dumbell flies, cable crossover, dips and even pushups all will develop pecs. On the bench, to really isolate the pecs widen your grip and keep your elbows out during the lift. This removes a lot of the tricep usage in the lift.

For the lower pecs, declines work well, but the best look is overal development, so don't neglect incline bench either.
