ok.....i bought 2 tens......dude told me to hook the wires to my 2 channel amp.....2 hots to one channel......2 negs to other channel.........sounded great, but, started blowing fuses. amp was getting too hot.....soo he upgraded me subs to a dual voice coil......i ran the positive to one side of sub...........the negative to the opposite side, then ran a bridge wire form one side od the dual to the other...........he told me to hook to the amp like i previously did....2 channels.......2 positives on one channel........2 negs on the other..........speakers dont produce any sound at all..........hope this is a good explanation

The best way would have been to wire the two voice coils of each speaker in paralell, then connect the two speakers in series,+to-, and run the other +and- to the red terminals of the power amp and use the bridged mono mode. Unfortunately, sounds like the amp blew up. 4 ohms is ok to run bridged, but 2 ohms or less will overheat and destroy an amp.

your gonna keep spending money with some guy who sees sucker on your forehead... don't buy anything else from this guy... Tell me what amp it is and what subs and I will tell you whats happening. Sounds like to small an amp for the subs but could be a number of things.
