I don't have have a co-signer for my loan. Is there any way that I can get a loan still without a co-signer. I have no credit and I have a loan already with sallie mae and I'm trying to get another one with another company.

ALL private loans require good credit or a co signer with good credit.. U can still get stafford loans even if u have one already as long as it's not in default (doesn't have to be with the same loan company)

The only way I know of would be a loan from the government.

Private loans are credit based, all of them. Fact of life.

If you are a US citizen or an eligible alien residing within the US you can apply for federal student aid through http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
