Yeah it works. Lemon juice needs to be left in the hair for a long time, and you need to use real squeezed juice or something I think.

However, it's not meant for you!! Don't use it on your hair! Brunettes cannot use lemons. It will turn your hair orange. Lemons are meant for blondes who want sun-kissed streaks.
Brunetts will have their hair turn the colour of the sun- orange!!

You can use chamomile tea though. Those will colour your hair nicely.

There is a product out there called Sun in that will do the same thing with better results.

If you want to stick with the lemon juice you need to put it on your hair will it is still wet (ie. when you just get out of the shower). When you put it in your hair wet it gives you more even highlights and has a better effect. You can sit in the sun OR you can blow dry your hair with the same results.

It will damage your hair. Your better off getting a few fine foils at the hairdressers, and getting the exact target colour you want. You dont have to have bleach, just get them to use a tint which is a few shades lighter and it will look like you have been in the sun on holidays for a few weeks. Also , lemon attracts the flies... eeeew... sticky!!
Good luck :-)

YES!!! mix lemon juice and a little peroxide ( too much will turn it orange) and sunbathe. you will turn up with som nice highlight.
however DO NOT USE SUN-IN ihave seeen some HORRIBLE CASES where it was turned a girl's hair fakey-orange and she was a moderate brunette

if your hair is light brown it might work. i don't think it works on dark and medium brown hair. i tried it and it did NOT work. only works for blondes.
