I am one of those poor fools who will fall for one person, and because of that, will find it difficult to date anyone else. This would be great except I fall for guys before anybody gets to asking anyone else out. The one I am currently smitten with, I work with him, although I don't see him as much as I did last year due to having different lunch times. I can honestly say I have never liked anybody as much as I genuinely like this person (I feel like Im 12 again, seriously), but I have lingering doubts, and I wonder at what point a person should maybe consider making an active effort to LOSE interest, if thats possible. (It seems to me the only option I have left. Id feel weird asking him out because we work together and such, and although I sense that he is interested sometimes, Id understand if he felt the same way. He's shy in the same way I am and I dont necessarily think that asking boys out works too well.) Thanks in advance!

I think you should ask him out, just because you work together unless he is a supervisor or something doesn't mean anything. Go for it....swallow that bulg in your throat when you see him and just blurt it out and tell him how interested you are in him.

If your interested in this guy,why don't you suggest the two of you get together outside work. You may find he's a whole different person away from the job.Keep it casual at first, then if he has an interest in you, take it from there.
And don't be afraid to ask him out. The worst he can do is say no. And even then you will know that there's no sense wasting any more time on him.

You have an addiction to romance and the rush of the what-might-happen-if..........
Your mind turns in to a romantic novel. Meanwhile a year or two passes and the romance is still in your mind.
Ask yourself, what is it about your past that makes it ok for you to be so romantic to fall for guys you don't really know.

Now that you understand your issues......work on falling for guys that might actually like you in return.

I bet this guy has NO clue how you feel and it would probably creep him out to hear how romantic you are about him.

Slow down your romantic heart for when the romance really happens.

You think too much. Just go out with the guy and have fun. Whatever happens will happen. Alot of people seem to over analyse things whats black is black and whats white is white. You dont go in and throw pink pokadots in there too confuse the shite out of yourself. Have fun. If you think too much , negativity will be your downfall

you should take ur chance with him, but be careful, you work with him, so it might be weird if it doesn't work out right, but to me it sounds like you are like me, but i would do what my heart tells me to do...good luck *_*
