what's good is you've narrowed down the areas that you want to target. without knowing your gym knowledge, you may want to use the machines that are set up to target the various areas you named. with a three day a week grind, i would go Monday, Wednesday & Friday. i would do the "tummy" area each day, to start off the workout and to end it. to keep it intense, move immediately from one station to the next. Monday could be the "upper" day:chest, biceps, triceps. Wednesday could be "lower":legs. Friday could be back to upper:back, shoulders. Cardio, like abs should be done each day as well. my suggestion should be a 1 hr workout, using the last 15 min. for the treadmill. good luck to you in reaching your goals...

I practice Karate 3 times a week at Joe Corley Karate in Atlanta, GA. In the Black Belt Training Program, our conditioning (workout) consists of:

Jump Rope for 2 Minutes
20 Pushups

Jump Rope for 2 Minutes
19 Pushups

Jump Rope for 2 Minutes
18 Pushups

...all the way down to 1 pushup.

By the time you're done, you will have jumped rope for 40 minutes and done 210 pushups.

When we started this, I laughed because I thought jump-rope was for little girls. Two minutes is a hell-of-a long time when you're trying to jump rope at a brisk pace.

Do this 3 times a week and at the end of 3 weeks, you'll notice a huge increase in definition in your arms as well as your cardio-vascular capacity.

Good luck!

Tae-Bo is usually pretty good, but also Winsor Pilates works good to tone up target areas.
