I set my friend up with someone my husband works with. She didn't want to meet this guy alone, so she begged me to go with her. My husband happened to be out of town that night, so it would just be the three of us. I called my husband and told him we were going out with his co-worker when my friend was there. She shouted into the phone, "we're going to have a threesome." My husband got a tid irritated by this. As we drove to the bar, she told me it was weird for my husband to get mad because he should trust me. He does trust, he just thought she was rude. I do, too. I was trying to do her a favor, after all.

Yes, you do have a right to be irritated at her. It was clearly an inappropriate comment, joke, whatever. You should tell her that it made you uncomfortable, and even though your husband trusts you, no one wants that kind of visual image in their minds about their partner, even for a second. Some people have little or no class.

Her comment about 'he should trust you' was to start shyt in my opinion! your reply should have been 'he does, but now he is not too sure about YOU'!

F U C KK hurting her feelings!

YOU absolutely HAVE TO nip those kinds of 'innocent' attacks on your husband or soon you will be single and on the barstool right next to her!
Do yourself and your marriage a favor and become 'extremely busy' the next time she needs someone to hold her hand on a date.
Sounds as if she is single for a good reason!

I don't think u shd get irritated at her. She did not mean any harm, in my opinion. She was trying to be wildly funny. See, if she was ur best friend, u would not hv minded I guess. Because u don't know her that well, u r feeling offended. But I have a good feeling she just meant to be funny and didn't think it would be taken so seriously. Let it go.

My man would be mad too. Its not funny for someone who you are doing a favor for to say things like that. Though she was just trying to be funny, she should think things through before she goes round shouting things like that.

You're all to serious and sensitive. Lighten-up.

You're friend wasn't meaning to be rude, she was trying to be funny and it was taken as rude because of the sensitivities of the people she was saying it to. She should have been more sensitive to that.

Tell her it bothered you two. That's what friends do. Keep each other in check.
