U will get ur excess aid about 30 days after u start classes.. They won't disburse till u start attending class. If u start school and finish less than 60% of it, u will owe the money back to the school. Can u enroll in the school in Arizona and take classes online (most schools offer them)... then when u get ur aid move..

Well, what would happen would be this. Since you got the grant money and used it to move instead of going to school, you would fail all of your classes....the school would put you on a "suspension" and you wouldn't be able to get your aid for the next semester/quarter until you proved that you were in classes and doing well. Now, I once stopped going to school and nothing happened, but I waited about 3 years before signing up for school again and everything was fine, I got my aid again. But I think being that close you would have some problems. You would have to pay for your books on your own. Unless you wanted to wait for a few extra weeks for your aid to come through. Your best bet is to go to the financial aid office in the city you are moving to and ask them.

I am not sure if I'm understanding your question right, but from what I'm getting it is that you want to use your grant refund money to help pay for your move, but you won't be enrolled in school.
