I don't understand why girls get upset or offended by this question. Doesn't it show that I actually care?

the girls you are with suck if you cant tell if they had one or not. They should not be offended at all...I wouldnt be. Ive been asked that before and I either answer yes or no.

hmm..
When I first got with my guy, he used to ask how many times..not if I did..I was his first partner, ever, and the look on his face after we were done the first time he gave me one..well..he just knew an I could see it..he had a look of surprise, amazement, and happiness...
Now, he only asks if it was so many times he lost count or if he is worried and think it only happened once during a really good "session"..
I guess it shows you care, but in all honesty, you should be able to tell by her different body reactions and how much she is into it while you 2 are having sex...
If she is not into it and it doesnt really show, then I doubt she is even having one at all...

It is rude and u should not ask again...
When u ask WHY that reasons U want Reason, Reason is logic and Rude acts interpreted to a person culture.... therefore it is breach of culture and its ethic... u may face with hand if u ask women in certain culture... so it is better u leave this question

This is even worse than asking her if you're a "good size". Don't put people into a position where they might feel uncomfortable or be forced into lying.
I don't lie about it anymore, bc I think guys are better off knowing the truth so they can lift their game. So if you asked me you might get a big "NO". Want to hear that?

I would not be offended. I think it does show you care, maybe it's the way you ask that they don't like.

I don't thin you should have to ask but if you feel the need to, there shouldn't be a prob. If she felt bad about the question then maybe you should reconsider your relationship with this girl!

She could be interpreting the question as you assuming that she faked an orgasm.
P.S. You shouldn't care if she had an orgasm or not. Worry about yourself. Someone must.

I wouldn't be offended. Maybe she's embarrassed or too shy to talk about it. I can't think of any reason it would be offensive.

YES it does show that you care, it is very considerate. i think, anyway. don't those girls want you to be able to please them? how will you know what works if they keep their personal moments all to themselves? friggen dingies *rolling eyes*
