A fat person (about 350-400 pounds) with a great attitude and wonderful personality, or a physically toned person with a below-average attitude and personality? You have to pick one--you can't say neither of them.
Remember, this is just hypothetical. I'm trying to prove a point to a coworker. She says that most people would go for the fat person, but I say that most people don't have the emotional depth to fall in love with a person instead of a body.

People are shallow. They'll go for the physically fit person.
- In a real life situation I bet your coworker would do it too and possibly not even be aware she was doing it.

I think if a person is shallow they would pick a person on looks, I personally would pick the fat guy, personality and a good attitude are the best things a person has.

Probably neither, I'm not physically attracted to obese people, and that is a big part of falling for someone for me, if I'm not attracted to someone.. it just won't work. I'd probably just end up being that person's friend and not have an intimate/sexual relationship with him. Plus, I'm a rather active girl, and it would be hard for him to keep up with me, I'd feel bad about that, if I really cared about him that much, I'd much rather him find a girl he had more things in common with... we could always be friends.
Second person just sounds rude/mean. I wouldn't want to talk to that person unless he changed his attitude. I've dealt with alot of people with bad attitudes and they aren't very good to be around when it comes my anxiety problems.
Maybe I'm just too picky? lol

that kind of is a very interesting question, most people would look at the body type, and never ponder what lies deep beyond that, but people that are not shallow and ignorant would pick the person with the great personality, no matter of the size, if they only had to decide.

Physically toned person. I'm a very athletic, fit girl and i would not be able to be with someone who can hardly walk up a few steps. I need a guy that i could do things with and have fun

hmmm thats very tough... from a guys point of view.. i would say the physically toned person... i would like to say the fat person with the great attitude... but i dont think that would be the case ......

loaded question. hard to answer honestly to boot. guess id say it would have to be the obese one. ive seen beautiful women who are selfish and mean hearted, and that turns me off completely. although men base their attraction on sight so its a catch 22. but im no shallow hal so id go for the big girl.

the first thing that one does is look and its we all like what looks nice. sure the attletic but will he fall for me!!
