And is running the best way to loose weight, and the more you do it, do you get better? I want to join a running club, and its a club to get it shape.

first off, the recommended amount of water is just a recommendation, if you work out or its summer you should always drink more. drinking more wont necessarily help you lose weight but its been proven if you drink COLD water your body uses calories to help heat it up, and also drinking water will help you stay full. running does burn a lot of calories but if you are overweight and arent used to working out i wouldnt recommend jumping into it or joining a running club right away....try walking, then gradually build up ur endurance to run more and walk less. also lift weights b/c your muscle will help burn calories and fat even when you are at rest. eat small meals frequently

Water helps fill you up. sometimes people think they are hungry when really they are dehydrated. So if you feel a little hungry before you eat a little healthy snack drink half a bottle of water. Also if you want to lose weight eat 4-6 small meals a day...NOT 3 big meals. Always and i mean always eat breakfast NEVER skip.

Cardio is the best way to lose weight and running is a type of cardio but if you don't enjoy running there are many other types of cardio such as walking, swimming, biking, rollerbladeing, or even kickboxing. If you do enjoy running a running club is a great idea but if you don't enjoy running it will be a waste of time because you will lose motivation. Find a cardio exercise you would want to do 4-6 days a week.

And yes the more you run the better you get.

good luck and keep up the good work.

Drinking more water can assist u but cannot be sole basis for reduction of ur weight.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

you can actually die from drinking too much water. some lady just dropped dead from drinking about 1 1/2 gallons of water.(of course she did it all at one time)
the only way to loose weight, and to keep it off is to eat and drink responsibly!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you are over weight and really want to loose it think of changing your life, not going on a diet.
walking is just as good as rinning in the beginning. start slow and work your way up. yes you do get better at it. if you have a dog go and take him for a walk every day. try and do it at the same time and it will become part of your daily routine.
STICK TO IT. IT DOES GET EASIER. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST DON'T STARVE YOURSELF. DON'T WANT UNTIL YOU ARE REALLY HUNGRY BEFORE YOU EAT. that will only make you eat more.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just started a new program this past Wednesday. Have you heard of the pill "Fahrenheit"??? That's what I've been taking. And, I just weighed myself today and measured my bust, waist, hips, thigh, calf and arm, and so far (within 2 days) I've lost 4 inches! I feel great. Last time I weighed myself was on Wednesday when I started it and I weighed 145 pounds. I don't have a scale right now, so I don't know how much weight I have lost. The people and Modulators will help you with ANY questions and all that you have. I want to be down to around 115-120 pounds by the end of April, so hopefully I will get there. They have a meal plan too to go with it. I feel great..... go to the website and check it all out for yourslelf. People have before and after pics up there too. If you're interested in it, sign up with them (it's free). Let me know if you have anymore questions. I'm on that site too. email me if you have any problems or anything. Good Luck!

Drinking water will do absolutely nothing to help you lost weight, and drinking too much can potentially lead to over hydration and can be fatal. Their is no best way to lose weight, but running certainly is a good option, and yes, the more you run the stronger your muscles will get so the better you will be at it.

Be careful drinking too much water. There is such a thing called water intoxication and it kills. Drink the normal amount. Yes, running is a good way to lose weight but you also do damage to your knees, etc... Try swimming. It is a great workout, without the stress on the joints.

I am a Phis.Ed. Teacher. I like my food, so I exercise to compensate. I am not over skinny, neither am I fat. I believe in drinking water specially cause it helps to wash down toxins etc. But do not substitute it for meals. Also the 5 to 6 small meals at day is the best thing. You eat every 3 hours, about 350 to 450 cals. Drink water, don't cut sugar and starch, just add little amounts of them in your meals. Sometimes, I have chips for one of my meals. If I crave, I have it, I just take care of the other meals then. Exercise, the more you jump and move your arms, the more fat and cals. you burn. I like the Xtrainer (cross-trainer) you work upper body and lower body at the same time and can burn up to 500 cals in 35 min.

Drinking too much water is worse than not drinking enough. Drink about 1 gal per day and you will be ok.

Yes, you will lose weight if you drink water because your body will not hold as much water.
