The highs will probably be around 19, with lows around 10 (C)--think highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s (F). But, buildings are not well insulated, so it will tend to be cooler inside than you might be accustomed to (depending on where you are from).

Dress in layers!! The temperature difference between the sun and shade is unbelievable!! And wear comfortable shoes.

You can bring packaged goods (cookies, canned goods, candy, instant noodles, etc.), but no fresh fruits, meats, dairy, etc. Check the MAF website for more info: customs.govt.nz

where are you coming from? if you are coming from the Sahara it will be freezing for you, if you are coming from Alaska it will be hot for you. Wear a sweater, have a few layers on, then if you are hot you can just take them off.
you can bring packet things, but try not to bring anything in, just buy the canned stuff when you get over here. Sure we might not have the biggest twinkie mall in the world but the food is pretty much the same, just better and fresher.
