i have disc prolapse at 2 levels (l3-l4 and l5-s1), and spondylolisthesis at two levels, upper lumbar and l5-s1. i have been suffering back ache since 10 yrs, now am 30. have had to take bed rest for 2 weeks, 3-4 times when i had exacerbations. i had sacral plexus neuropathy and my lower limb still feels numb at times, or i have painful pins and needles sensations in toes, and muscle cramps in calf. burning pain sensation around hips. but i have made many lifestyle changes, am doing yoga, and though the pain still remains, it is much less. i wish to conceive but am not sure how it will affect my spine. anyone with a similar experience please help??

Gosh I sorry to hear about Ur pain & understand about wanting to conceive. I hate to tell U this. 1st let me tell U this. I suffer from degenerative spinal disease. All of my disc R ruptured. With that being said, it will hurt Ur back bad. Check with Ur doctor. But from experience I know U don't want to hurt more. I wish U luck & hope this gives U something to think about.
