Several years back my hairdresser told me about a shampoo called Bumble & Bumble. She said it was all the rage and all the celebs are using it and it makes your hair super shiny. Again, that was several years ago.... Does anyone know what are some favorite shampoos that celebrities use to keep their hair looking so shiny?

Note to Valleygirl: I would disagree that celebs are born with super shiny (or "perfect") hair. :)

Unless you have a stylist travel with you, your hair will probably never look perfect all the time. Celebrities have their stylist right by their sides at all times, that's the only reason that their hair looks good all the time. I am sure they use professional products and keep up on salon visits for trims, colors, and so on. Matrix is a huge professional line that is endorsed by many stars. I love it and recommend it everyday. Try it, I bet you will see the improvement in your hair before the first bottle is gone. The biggest difference in professional products as opposed to those at a drug store or other stores is that the water content is HALF of the store bought brands. That is 80% water in store bought brands and only 40% water in professional brands. This is why you do not have to use as much and why the product can fix problems more quickly. This is also why they cost more but they are really worth the couple of extra dollars. Ask your stylist for suggestions and good luck!

well first they probably get a gloss treatment or something. two I'm pretty sure that after the photo shoots they have edit things that make your hair look really shiny. three i GUARANTEE YOU that they use a VERY high expensive salon shampoo that you could never afford(not to be in your bus sinus ) I'm pretty sure it would be higher that pureology! and that is like 40$ a bottle!. four they have their hair dresser follow them around 24-7 and do their air every second of the day but for shampoo to get shiny hair i would recommend eather Dove or Enjoy shampoo and conditioner and celebs mostly use what ever their hair dresser recommends for THEM you and say Miranda Cosgrove may have totally different hair types she might have thick wavy hair and you have thin strait air or she has thin strait hair (curls it) idk what i would do is go to your hair dresser and ask them what shampoo would work best for YOUR hair it might help to tell them your ameing for shiny hair and they would recommend something.

Actually, there is a lot of hard work in being a celeb, but even after all beauty sessions photographers use a lot of Photo Shop. So, nobody is that beautiful, shiny and gorgeous as it might seem at a first glance. try any good shampoo that says "extra shine" but have realistic expectations.

The hottest is a new brand just coming out that is all the rage called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it won't dry out your hair. And...it smells awesome!!! You'll be able to get Organix in the stores in the next few weeks at Kroger, Target, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. You'll love it!

I'm not a celeb, but I am a stylist and I always recommend professional products, but aside from shampoo and conditioner there are great products that give shine if your shampoo and conditioner isn't enough for you. Redken makes Vinyl Glam, which I love but Biolage makes a great one too. Happy hair days!

Yes. Bumble and Bumble is fab. As is Kerastase. But the real secret is how the hair is washed. I just wrote a piece about this very thing:

Use Phyto Organics from Nexxus, obtainable at salons. it is the perfect shampoo. try the Inergy shampoo for shine, and the Humectin conditioner for softness. Then end off the type through utilising somewhat Silk Infusion from CHI for shine and eliminating those fly aways.

Honestly, you can never have hair that looks like celebrities hair- unless you're born with simply gorgeous hair.
Celebrities have hair that is fixed so often- probably more often than we shower. They need it. Image is their business.
You can get haircuts like theirs, but it'll cost you. Alot.
As for shiny hair, many of them slop on lots of goo to have hair shine for a function or photoshoot.
Don't think their hair is always like that.
