I would highly recommend that you get in touch with a CHADD support group in your area. They will be able to direct you to appropriate treatment in your local area. http://www.chadd.org

There is a ton of great information on the site which will help you learn more about ADHD as well as Oppositional Defiant Disorder. It is also possible that he actually has something called Asperger's Syndrome which is characterized by obsessions and difficulties communicating feelings. You need a thorough assessment by someone who is knowledgeable. I would recommend a Behavioral Neurologist as a good start. Again, finding a local support group will help you find effective treatment and also help you to know that you are not all alone in this.

I feel sorry for your son.
I wonder who decided about adhd and aggression issues.
It seems you are not close to him by the way you write about him.
Perhaps his behavior is a reflection of his sorry life, lacking love and attention, but perhaps rife w/criticism and deprivation.
Just thinking..There are no bad kids, they are only the reflection of the way they grow up.
I feel for you too.
If you will realize you wronged him after he leaves home, it will come back to haunt you and you will suffer.
Better show him all the love and attention you are capable of and see what happens.

I sense that in this case, this is generational demonic attack.
If you would like the proper spiritual approach, you need to ask God to reveal to you all past cases of violence, violence of ancesters in the military and then you prayer a prayer essentially as follows:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, on behalf of my husband and myself and my children, we renounce all generational curses, all spirits and demons and all vows and idols of war, violence, mutilation, anger, hatred, murder and (fill in here all the other things God reveals to you.) We ask you Jesus to cut all these ties and binds that have been put upon him and attach them to you.

In general, you pray and ask God to reveal other forms of violence, anger, hatred and write them down and then repeat the prayer above. You have to find out all the grounds for demonic attack and then renounce them for him and yourselves.

As you practice this, God may begin to reveal other things to renounce. If God shows you spiritual attachments between him and other persons that are harmful, you pray a prayer similar to the above, however, you renounce all spirit bonds and all soul ties between him and the revealed persons.

This may take some time and learning, but this is the proper spiritual approach. Be wary of ignorant people who claim to know how to apply solutions to demonic problems. There are alot of people who think they know what to do, but do not. The proper approach involves discovering the grounds for demonic attack and then renouncing them. As parents you can renounce them for him.

I'd also recommend you ask God to specifically intervene for him and show you what to do. I have a feeling you have already prayed that. Its a good thing you did.
