I am finding my pc is super slow ! and see a free download of Reg Cure, is this a wise thing to do?

I know nothing is ever truly free, and wonder if it is wise for me to download Reg Cure, does anyone out there have any advise for me about this? If not Reg Cure, is there any way I can make my pc faster? It takes a very long time to open, and sometimes I have to try again several times before it finally opens my e-mail

No do not download the Reg Cure. It will show you a lot of things that is "wrong" but to fix them you will have to pay for it. It sounds like you need a good anti-virus. I realize that we have all learned that nothing is ever truely free but.... Avast Home Addition is TRUELY FREE! I have tried Norton, Mcafee etc. and this is the best anti-virus I've tried. This reg cure is totally useless, because you can download it free but you cannot remove even a single virus from it. If your PC is slow download free internet eraser and download safe xp from the internet.

You might have a virus or worm, dear.

You can also defragment your disk drive. It's in Start>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragment

You might also want to upgrade your RAM. It's increase your PC's speed significantly when you run programs and start-up!

First, defrag your computer, get rid of all your temp files, before you do, then check your memory, and finally, if you have a lot of icons on your desktop, you are wasting ram.
Oh, and, if you're not already, at night, at least every other day or so, shut down your computer, completely.

Run Defrag on your computer, maybe it will run faster.

If that doesn't work try running Disk Cleanup.
