That should only be a free scan. After they scan your computer they'll show you how many errors your computer has and if you pay $30 you can buy the software and it'll fix those errors. But hey, it worked for my laptop, desktop and my friend's laptop so I recommend it 100%

This is a system called Spybot, go here and on the left side of the page find download and click on it. This is absolutely free (you may donate if you wish, it is NOT required). You may update this (I suggest once a week). This is simple to use and it works! It also allows you to see what was installed on your computer without your approval before you delete it. You can also create a backup in case you delete something that you actually wanted. You never have to re-register it and you will never see anything in your e-mail. I have used it for years and it is better than any of the other software I used. Keep the threat detection program updated and run the immunize program when necessary and viruses and spyware are history.

First, verify what classes are being put in once you boot the computing gadget. you do no longer prefer or prefer maximum them to run everytime. Then run a competent undercover agent ware application. I prefer 2: advert-conscious and Spybot S&D. the two are unfastened and do an extremely sturdy pastime in case you run them a minimum of as quickly as a week. you besides would could have a competent antivirus application. i like AVG. that is unfastened and runs immediately on a regular basis. If none of this facilitates speed up your computing gadget, you have some hardware subject concerns. verify your RAM. you have too little for what you're doing with the computing gadget. additionally, your complicated force may well be getting finished. Delete all unneeded classes and information, then defrag it. The complicated force additionally may well be slowing down. nonetheless works yet is shifting slower and could take longer to function. i've got fixed many "puzzling" speed issues by utilising changing the complicated force, in spite of the reality that the force became nonetheless storing archives ok. It purely wasn't working very rapid.

I'm glad you realize nothing is free. They only want valid e-mail addresses. Try these simple homemade remedies:
- Many users are not aware of how much RAM is used by wallpaper and/or a screensaver full of graphics. They run in the background and consume memory. (I have only 512mb RAM, run multiple programs simultaneously, and have set my wallpaper and screensaver to blank.)
- How many programs do you load at startup? Maybe you should check it out and ensure you are running just what you need.
To do this: cl Start, cl Settings, cl Taskbar and Start Menu.
- cl Start Menu, cl Customize, cl Remove.
- cl the icon for the program you wish to remove
- then cl Remove.
- This will prevent the program from loading at startup, but will not remove the program from the hard disk.
- When you are working in a large file, save frequently to restore full memory access. (Your work remains in memory until you “save” it to disk.)
1. Did you run an error check? Open My Computer,
Right-cl on C:, Select Properties, Tools – Run an Error Check ( checkmark “check all and fix); then run a Defrag
2. Are you using Yahoo Toolbar? Run a full Norton Antispy.
3. From IE, click Tools, Internet Options
delete cookies
delete files (offline files)
clear history (set days to save to 0 if you want)
click o.k., and Restart
3. click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools – run Disk Cleanup
4. click Start, Run ipconfig renew (type ipconfig space renew)
All these things should be done regularly. The more frequently they are run, the less time they take.
- Note: Games and videos are mostly graphics. Graphics create large files. If this doesn’t help, you should consider getting more memory.

No do not download the Reg Cure. It will show you a lot of things that is "wrong" but to fix them you will have to pay for it. It sounds like you need a good anti-virus. I realize that we have all learned that nothing is ever truely free but.... Avast Home Addition is TRUELY FREE! I have tried Norton, Mcafee etc. and this is the best anti-virus I've tried. All you have to do is re-register it once a year. It IS free! Here's the link: http://www.avast.com/

This reg cure is totally useless, because you can download it free but you cannot remove even a single virus from it. If your PC is slow download free internet eraser and download safe xp from the internet.
It is gurantee that it will work..
Have a nice day

You might have a virus or worm, dear.
You probably do have spyware.
Go download:
Spybot Search & Destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/
Avast! Anti-Virus: http://www.avast.com/
Registry Cleaner: http://www.registry-cleaner.net/
Remember to set a System Restore point before you download and run all of the programs. Just in case.
You can also defragment your disk drive. It's in Start>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragment
You might also want to upgrade your RAM. It's increase your PC's speed significantly when you run programs and start-up!

First, defrag your computer, get rid of all your temp files, before you do, then check your memory, and finally, if you have a lot of icons on your desktop, you are wasting ram.
Oh, and, if you're not already, at night, at least every other day or so, shut down your computer, completely.

Run Defrag on your computer, maybe it will run faster.
If that doesn't work try running Disk Cleanup.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Try and download Spybot Search & Distroy
It will fix and find most spyware on a computer.
It is also (free) to use!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Try and download Ad Aware
This program will find most spyware and will quarantine them.
To get any extra tools for this program, you will have to subcribe to
get to use them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If they do not work try Norton SystemWorks and
Norton Internet Security.
You will have to Subscribe, both Norton Systemworks and Norton
Internet Security to it for 365 days.
You will need to keep the paper disc holder(s),
becasue you don't want to
lose the 25 lettered/numbered text code.
You will need it later on if you want to renew your Subscription.
The program will stop working in 15 days, if
you don't ativate it. This will happen with both programs.
They both have the same AntiVirus scaning progams in them.
To keep both Nortons up-to-date Run Live Update on one of the programs.
Give them a try and see what happens.
I have Norton on My computer and it works ok, for now.
Plus, I have Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad Aware on My computer
they both work for Me.
