So my guy friend and i have been friends for about a few years now. Just recently, i've noticed that he's been acting "different" and i've heard (and it's obvous) he's starting to have a thing for me. We would always be on the phone at night talking and now...it seems that he's too busy to call - rather than night, he'll call me during the day right before he heads off to work - is this a bad thing? good thing? what does it mean?

oh yeah another thing: he won't call me unless i call him that day and he's calling back - or i text him about being "sad", he'll call. Recently, he'll do this "spontaneous" call thing but he's been busy so i don't know...

He digs you he is just trying to keep distance in order to maintain the "just a friend" role. Give him the green light and he most likely will be blowing up your phone. Thats if you want him as more than a friend anyway.

You guys are friends, so just be honest about how you feel, and ask him why he's being this way. Somethings definitley up, guys don't just change like that because they're busy.

he's not getting any kindof sign from you that you like him the way he likes you so he's backing off. he's trying to protect himself. wouldn't you? it's up to you to decide the way this relationship goes. if you want him to keep giving you attention like before you've got to meet his need. if you can't meet his need, then accept the friendship he is giving and make sure you do the same for him.

he is not that in to you, cause if he did he seriously would take more time to see you, talk to you, day or night, unless he is the shy type

you should talk to him.its obvious that you like him as well, and if you already know he likes you, then just tell him.it cant hurt anything and you will be glad you did.maybe he has no idea that you have feelings for him, so he has tried to distance himself to avoid getting hurt.go for it!!good luck

he's bored and your messages are a break in his day? neither of you are in a committed relationship and you are friends.
