Showing no respect to a champion on the race track and then withering like the two-faced brown noser he is(when Jack called him on the radio) at pocono this wanna-be tough guy proved what a yellow belly braggart he truly is.

Dale Jr, Tony Stewart, and Carl Edwards are my 3 main drivers. I got a lot of **** for being a Tony and Carl fan after the Pocono race, as well as being both a Jr and Carl fan after the Michigan Busch race. In '05, Carl was in the same position as Denny Hamlin was last season. But, Roush Racing pretty much lost most of their magic touch over the offseason of 05-06. I can totally understand Carl's frusteration with Smoke, but for the lords sake, Tonys a 2 time champion. He just wants to be raced with respect. Basically what im trying to say is as big of a Cousin Carl fan I am, I still agree. Spinning Tony out on pit lane is just a flat out STUPID thing to do. Imagine if a crew member on SOMEBODY else's team would have gotten hurt?

no longer particular what's up with Carl. it is 2 weeks in a row he tried some thing....properly....dumb?! I comprehend he faired ok in Kansas, yet that would have backfired on him genuinely. He only desires to calm down now, and under no circumstances blow his championship possibilities. As for who receives the "bonehead" award this week, I nonetheless provide it to NASCAR who had a mild aspect over Carl.

Yeah, if the Champion you are talking about is Stewart, then I don't know what you are whinning about, Stewart doesn't respect anyone. Besides in that race Stewart INTENTIONALLY wrecked Bowyer, who got into Edwards because of the wreck. Stewart was just paying him back. Stewart is really not that great anyway- he is a HUGE bully, he does not desreve to be champion.

Drivers should not be treated any differntly just because they are Champions. On the track especially ALL drivers should be treated with respect. It really is dangerous for drivers to take out their differences on the track, someone could get killed. Who cares if Tony is a Champion, if he wants people to respect him, then he should start behaving like one.

Besides, Why don't you just build a bridge and get over it? That was ancient history.

....Or what!
Tony can only expect a champion's respect if he races like a champion. What he did to Bowyer was petty, and not of championship calibre, thus Tony set the parameters which gave Carl a very wide latitude in how to retaliate. It could have been anyone else, for that matter, it's just that Carl had the kahunah's to feed Tony some of his own medicine. Tony's past championships mean nothing if he won't race like a champion in the present.

Talk about two-faced. Does anyone remember what Tony Stewart did to Matt Kenseth at Daytona last year? I like Tony Stewart, but he is a huge moron sometimes. I also like Edwards. He is still kinda new to this Nascar scene and will learn how to handle situations. How many times has Stewart just taken someone out of the race for whatever reason he dreams up? Happens too often for me.

if you drive respectfully (no matter who you are) you should expect others to do the same.
Stewart is a great driver but he is far from a respectable driver on the track. He is the first one to b*tch about rough racing and then the first one to drive rough

Carl and Tony are both boneheads, they should be teammates.

I wouldn't say 'bonehead', more like 'loose cannon'. He's inconsistant; he's like a bowler who bowls a 300 game one time, then nothing but gutterballs the next. And when he's not driving well, you don't know what he's likely to do.
My nickname for him is 'Snarl' Edwards.
