Some say that using rap with christian lyrics is not a proper way to reach a certain group of individuals. That it is a stumbling block and will only lead to worldy music

i think yes and no. some artists have slowly started rapping less and less about God, or are signing w/secular labels and ditching talking about God entirely. however, i think taking a secular thing like rap and creating a good alternative to it is also a good idea. lots of people have been saved, or have given up secualr rap and switched to Christian rap, so in this case using a worldly thing to reach out and identify w/people who like rap to lead them to Christ is also a good thing. im all for Christian rap as long as it stays Christian.

Christian rap is for artists that couldn't make it as real rappers.
-The people that say Christian rap is bad are simply saying that because they do not like rap music. If it is Christian, then that does not mean that it will lead people to like "bad" music. For example the bible talks about murder and death all the time, but people are not afraid that others who read the bible will become murderers...(but maybe they should be)

I think its just really corny overall and unnecessary. It makes some poeple think that other music is bad and 'evil' when I believe the only bad things are the other rapper's attitudes towards people/issues/life in general. I have yet to find any good christian rap artists that don't come off as corny or fake.

I think it's just making christian music more appealing to younger audiences. It's not like rap itself is evil, it just depends on the words in them

I hate Rap, rock is way better. Both Christian rap and hip hop suck and I'm a Christian.
