Try veggies and fruits and drink lots of green tea and water. Water is always healthy & green tea speeds up your metabolism.
Ofcoarse, stay away from anything fatty, high sugar concentrate, fried foods, etc etc.
And bread also has alot of sugar in it so keep your bread servings at a minimum.

Choose any that u like.
Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

It all depends on what type of diet you're on. Is is a vegetarian diet? Are you diabetic and need to eat accordingly? Or are you simply restricting your food intake?
The problem with "strict diets" is that they are unrealistic. Why would you simply cut out something that you love to eat, for the rest of your life? For the short term, absolutely. Restricting yourself to get to a comfortable weight, I can relate to. But moderation is definitely the key. I've maintained my weight for years and I eat burgers, fries, fried foods, macaroni cheese and a host of other foods that are supposedly "off limits" on a diet. However, I don't indulge in those types of foods all of the time.

Eat natural foods only, so not processed meals.
Don't put yourself on a strict diet, go to your GP who can check your weight and advice on a programme of safe weight loss.
