oooh I have/had this problem too and I let it keep me from some really good people but you know what I find helpful? turn into oprah on them. LOL Some people just want to enjoy your company and they bring PLENTY of conversation themselves. If you like the person tell them. or you could Try Telepathy!!! LOL

Ask a question about him that will result in an answer from him followed by a question for you. Answer his questions and keep the conversation on you. Most guys are used to this and are trained from puberty to ask you questions and keep the conversation on you. Just play into it.

Well the trick for guys is we ask girls questions and without them knowing they're already rambling on well into the next topic.
It's not different with guys. Find out what he likes and keep asking him questions and tell him your cousin also likes it or ur friend used to do it a long time bla bla bla.

Just be yourself. If a you two are meant to be, things will flow naturally.....even if they don't, it's cool. When you like someone, you get nervous....and sometimes people say dumb things when they're nervous. Don't sweat it though, just remember he's probably just as nervous and more worried about what he's saying and what he said, then what you're saying. Have fun and most importantly......BE YOURSELF!
Good luck!

hey there. when you like a guy, it's always a good idea to ask him about himself - guys LOVE to talk about themselves. ask about what he does for fun, if he likes to read or listen to music, what his fav tv shows are, and what he wants to do when he grows up.
but, in my experience, guys your age are just as afraid of you as you are of them. so be forgiving - hes probably very nervous around you because he likes you.
simply said - be friendly and open-minded!
