I don't know why, but I'm just not in a good mood, and I have no idea why this is. Of course this isn't the first time, and I know a lot of people experience this. Does anyone know what causes such a feeling though in the first place?

Sometimes- I wake up in a bad mood; so I attribute it to a bad dream I'd already forgotten... On other occasions- I'm cranky because something's "bothering me..." that I can't get a handle on (& I have to sit down with myself, & ask, "Alright Joseph, what's the problem here...???). The rest of the time it's probably the usual suspects of restless hormones, pesky relatives, an infuriating series of unfortunate events, - or the dog leaving a "present" in one of my wifes shoes, & she's blaming ME for it... The possibilities are endless...

Keep a good schedule...... eat right and avoid a lot of salt and sugar. Have a really good meal once a week. Make love as often as you can. Walk. Run. Water. A lukewarm shower. A nap. Get in touch with yourself. Make a schedule. All great parents do it and you can do it for yourself. It sounds too simple but its funny how a snickers bar just at the right moment might keep you in check. Be good to yourself!

I used to be like that and then I discovered it was because I was eating incorrectly. Make sure you eat 3 meals with 2 snacks in between. Protein, veggies, fruit, and healthy grains. It keeps up your blood sugar and you won't have negative thoughts. I swear most of the people on anti-depressants just don't eat right or enough..

I totally understand how you feel - i do agree with the guy above about eating well BUT i was diagnosed with severe depression and took Anti-depressants (which worked amazingly) ....it is REAL ....depression is a chemical in-balance in the brain ...some are born with it !! If this keeps up for you ...see ur doc and they can take some blood tests ....paxil works VERY well ...but not for everyone ! Good luck and hope you cheer up soon !! Life is BEAUTIFUL !!!

Keep in mind that whatever caused it, you are the one who decides what to think and what feelings to allow to continue or what feelings not to allow to continue. If you are in a bad mood, it is because you have chosen to be in one, because you have the power to think and feel something different if you choose to.

Bipolar. A chemical in-balance. PMS. Having nobody to talk to about this problem, so you have to ask a bunch of strangers.
