WELLBUTRIN XL has demonstrated tolerability
As with all medications, you may experience side effects when you take WELLBUTRIN XL. Side effects may be more common shortly after you start treatment. The most common side effects with WELLBUTRIN XL are weight loss, loss of appetite, dry mouth, skin rash, sweating, ringing in the ears, shakiness, stomach pain, agitation, anxiety, dizziness, trouble sleeping, muscle pain, nausea, fast heartbeat, sore throat, and urinating more often.
Seizures may occur (studies showed an incidence of 1/1000 - 4/1000). The chances of having seizures increases with higher doses. Taking more than 450 mg/day increases the chance of serious side effects. If you have nausea, take WELLBUTRIN XL with food. If you have trouble sleeping, remember to take WELLBUTRIN XL in the morning. Do not change your dose or stop taking WELLBUTRIN XL without talking to your doctor.

If you google it you can find all kinds of information on the side effects of it.
I took it and I had the worst case of dry mouth, and a few headaches at the start.
As your body adapts to it those effects will lesson.
I dont really know about the elevated blood pressure but for less than the price of the medication you can get a blood pressure kit (cheaper at a goodwill or a salvation army) and you can monitor it yourself and see.
Alot of medications react differently with different people....if you find that the side effects of this dont really work for you, be sure to talk to your doctor about switching medications.
Apparently this particular medication is NOT to be used if you take medication for high blood pressure so be sure to disclose this info to your doctor to make sure that it is safe for you!
(also, do NOT drink while you are using it!)

one more thing. If you smoke try to think about quitting! This medication is also known as zyban and it is used to help people to quit smoking and appears to have a very high sucess rate!

There's many side effects of having high blood pressure. My mum is 38 and she suffers from high blood pressure. It can cause strokes, and blurred vision, headaches and fits. It's good that he has some tablet for it though, because if it became worse he could be at risk of getting cardiovascular disease like angina, which can cause him to have a heart attack or stroke.

I took wellbutrin for 2 weeks and during this time i became highly paranoid and had really bad mood swings. I did not like it and i dont recommend it for anyone.

WELL, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR PEOPLE WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND / OR ANXIETY ..WILL MAKE YOU WORSE ,.I IMAGINE WELLBUTRIN COULD CAUSE STROKE , HEART ATTACK ,.IT HAS BEEN KNOWN TO CAUSE SEIZURE DISORDERS..JUST BECAREFUL..

when my brother wa sick with cancer, he was depressed and he was put on this medicine. no serious side effects with him, but it has been none to cause many different serious sideeffects, including high blood pressure and siezures
