The computer would have to display sentience and free will. I don't think our computers are quite at that level yet. However, it is possible that someday, we'll be able to create computers that are self-aware. Could they do wrong? Absolutely, if 2001 : A Space Odyssey was any indication.

No, but i do think a powerful computer might become God. Every year the power of computers doubles. At that rate we will have computers few trillion times smarter then us. It is only a matter of time before programing lets it be self aware. If you think a computer is just a machine. Consider the fact that we are already able to implant chips in our bodies to control the world. Grafting live brain cells on to micro chips is also being attempted. All powerful mind in control of all our systems. Banking, aviation, satellites, military..... If it come to blows we lose. If it comes to sin 'it' would decided what Sin is. I do think it would be a sin to create a machine that would make us the inferior species.

All powerful self aware computer. Would be God.

Is it based in science? Then yes. Science is the devil's way of distracting us from the truth! Mine sins everyday. It takes me to websites with awful things, and I don't even ask it to.
