Why exactly does it care so much that we believe and/or like it? Dosen't that seem just slightly petty for an omniscient being? Isn't creating whatever good enough for it?

As my dad use to say, "You can't love something you don't know." This is so true. Plus, what ever happened to gratitude for our being, our existence, for life and all God provides? Is this a difficult concept to understand? I don't think so.

God does exist and as an intelligent species there is proof if there exists an open mind and reason. There are 5 proofs Thomas Aquinas gave that are logical and scientific in nature. I would suggest them to anyone.

It can seem that way but it can be seen also as a parent/child relationship. Its like any mother that loses a child's respect. The mother will still have a part of it that will love her child and wishes for it to love her back. Or at least in my view it can seem like that.

I think it's "people" who care.

If there is a God....I can't image he would give a poop what "people" think.
