What city around the los angeles is nice but inexpensive for a college student to live? I've heard Monrovia is nice but I don't know.

It depends on what school you are planning on going to. But if you live on/near campus it can get pretty pricey, but renting 20-30 minutes from the school may make gas a problem. It just depends what school, but some good places are Monrovia, Pasadena, and Alhambra.

I have heard that Monrovia is pretty decent. I would suggest Pasadena, Glendale, La Crescenta, Montrose. If you prefer the Inland Empire, I would suggest Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Ontario. All safe, nice area that are still somewhat affordable. I would suggest getting a roommate so you could afford a larger, nicer apt in a nice, safe area.

Monrvia is a pretty quiet safe place. You don't really have any gang people hanging around over there. But what school are you planning to go to?

it depends what part inb LA. but most schools have apartment buildings not own by the school in which students live.(off campus apartments.) they are not the dorms.so yeah u should research if they have apartments near ur school for rent.
