how many times does it take for the perverbial heart to break, before a person can walk away with out regret and what if's? how many times untill your heart finally gives in and is willing to let you walk away?

I think that it depends on the person that you are, after the very first heartbreak I said, whatever happens happens no regrets, and I've had such a bad look on love because of that relationship, I was never the same, I honestly think though that it really depends on the person and their experiances they've been through, some maybe once, others a lifetime.

It really depends on the situation and what that person is doing to break your heart. Also depends on how you feel about this person. Do you love them or not. If you have tried everything you can to make it work and nothing has changed and you keep getting hurt then it's not worth it. It's not easy I know but you have to think about what you want and how you want to be treated. You are the QUEEN!!

For me it was twice just to let go. However16 yrs later married to a wonderful man with 2 kids the "what if " still comes back to haunt me.

sad Truth is not till you hit an all time low.the day you see that this one person you love is not returning any love ...then after a few steps you let it go ...u become normal again and then later on you find the perfect someone but dont kill yourself we still need you

as many times as you let it ....until your brain says that enough cause a heart only feels it doesn't think your heart goes by what you feel you have think and stop feeling b/c the cycle is going to continue

well i've been hurt many times, just for sex. and men really chained up my head, they just wanted my, u no what. all that i met did the same thing to me, until i met one i thought was the perfect one and he turned out the big loser. i fell for him and he just hurt me. hung up wen i called, he didn't even call me for my birthday, i was just infatuated by his looks n his money which he wasnt even worth. i cried because i loved him and he always told me tht he loved me which wasn't true. and it hurt me so bad iwanted to hurt myself because men always did the same thing to me and i really trusted him and love him. but i think no more than three months the heart will give in. i'm doin ok now, i never thought it wud b ok, but my life is bac to normal. so just hang in there.
