How do I get rid of my boyfriends anger problem?

I have been with my boyfriend for almost a year now. He's the sweetest guy in the world that would do anything for me.....until he gets mad. I am not allowed to speak to guys. When we are not together he has to be on the hone with me. If I tell him I am busy he gets "pissy" and then says I don't love him and I'm talking to another guy. He constantly tells me rhat I am cheating. When we get into an arguement he calls me names Like whore, ***** and when I say I can't believe you just called me that, he says he never did. I am at a loss of what to do. You see I love this guy. I have no doubt in my mind that I want to be with him forever. You're probably like " Wow, this girl has serious self esteem problems, to want to be with a guy liike this". Trust me if I were reading this I would think the same. Honestly though he is the greatest guy...in every way, until he gets mad. I know that his mother left his father for the same reason, he also blames his anger on that a lot. what do I do

The easy way is to dump this controlling, abusive guy. Then you will have a much better life. However if you are lost(you Love him), then get ready for a life just like it is right now, forever. He will never change.

Any guy that is the 'greatest guy, until'...is NOT a great guy. Unless you can say he is a great guy WITHOUT the 'until', he is not a great guy.

You could try anger classes(though they are mostly a joke)...if you can get him to go, of course. The fact that he had a bad life(waaa, cry me a river) is no excuse for his anger(or anything else).

Sometime soon he will hit you or hurt you bad enough you will leave. It Will Happen.
