checked fuses, ok and i think the pump isn't ne good. how can i take it out and i know the batery comes out but how? it looks so hard to remove it.

It would help to know what type of car or truck you are working on. The washer pumps in GM C & T usually are just plugged into the washer jug by way of a sealing grommet. They either are supplied power or ground through the switch and the other terminal is the opposite. Make sure the washer jug is full and not leaking. If the motor is working and no fluid is being sprayed onto the windshield, check to see if the lines or nozzles are plugged first. If that is okay, yes you will have to dig it out and it is not a big job for any of GM's vehicles. Good luck.
