It is always important!!!! That is one of the responsibilities of getting a tattoo. If you want them to remain looking good then you need to put sun lotion on them everytime you are going to be out in the sun for more than an hour.

yes its important to stay out of the sun after you get a new tat but you have to stay out for at least a month or you risk it fading and even after its healed its important to use sunscreen on it

Yes. Mine are a couple years old and I still apply sunblock on them if I'm going to be out in direct sun for awhile.

if you have a tattoo it is important to keep it out of the sun all the time. sunlight has uv rays and regardless of whether you wear sunscreen the light will break down your tattoo over time.

extremely important!! my dad was in the sun for several hours the day after a tat and it faded so bad! also avoid tanning, pools and lakes.

yes very important as the skin is still healing and the ink may fade they even recommend after it has healed that you still cover it wiht sun screen

to avoid fading you will need to wear sunscreen on your tatoo or tatoos anytime that your tatoo is in the sun for a long period of time.
